Academic Skills Tutor Appointments

Book online for an Academic Skills appointment.

Appointments are available Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 5.00pm.

Several types of appointment are available.  Standard appointments are 30 minutes. If it is your first appointment, or you feel you need more time, you may book an Extended appointment which will provide an hour's personal tuition. Quick discussions of 15 minutes are also available.

STEP 1

  • Select your subject area from the left hand panel

STEP 2

  • Choose the member of staff offering the area of expertise you require.  
  • Click on the button to Book an Appointment.  A new page will open with their availability.  Follow the onscreen instructions. Note that for some staff who work across several campuses you need to select the Location for the appointment first. 

STEP 3

  • If you are not able to make any of the available dates please use the email button to contact the appropriate member of the team.

We also have the option for you to book an appointment on your preferred campus, or on a specific date and time that suits you. Appointments can be at Stoke, Stafford,Shrewsbury, by telephone or online via Skype.

Follow the link below then select the location, the type and the length of appointment you want.  The system will allocate you an appointment with whichever Skills Tutor has appointments at your selected time.

You can also drop-in to the Skills Space in the Thompson Library between 9.00am and 4.00pm during term time.
