Building opening hours
The RHS Library is open 24/7 every day.
24 hour out of hours access is available to most registered members via a swipe card which is issued by the Library - a £5 charge is required for the card. Please ask in the library if you would like to arrange access.
Visiting the Library:
The Library is situated in the Learning Centre (next to the Faculty of Health building) at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
Bank Holidays:
Opening hours may vary for Bank Holidays and during the Christmas period. Please check the Shrewsbury and Telford Health Libraries web site for details.
Christmas and New Year 2022: Vacation opening hours starts from 4pm Friday 23rd December until 8:30am Tuesday 3rd January. If you are a staff member or student at Shrewsbury please ensure you get the out-of-hours card prior to the vacation.
Self Service Opening Hours
The times when the buildings are open but the Enquiry Desks are not staffed are referred to as Self-Service or Out of Hours opening.
The buildings are supervised by Campus Services staff and access is restricted to:
- Current Staffordshire University Staff
- Current Staffordshire University Students and Alumni
- NHS users who have a valid Library Card and an Out of Hours Access Pass
