It is not possible to create a new reading list from scratch in MS Teams. However, you can follow the instructions to make a new list using Leganto and link the list you create to your MS Teams group.
To find the link for your reading list, navigate to your list in Leganto. Select the ellipses menu (…) on the row with the list title, which will create a drop-down menu. Select ‘create a sharable link’ and ‘to list’ from the options presented. A new pop-up will appear asking you to copy the link to your clipboard. This is the link you should copy, paste and save to MS Teams using the instructions below. Please note, copying the link from your internet browser will not work.
To set up a reading list within MS Teams, navigate to the Teams group you wish to connect to your reading list. On the top horizontal menu (where you will see the default menu options of Posts and Files), select the plus button (+) to see the options available for adding new resources to your Teams group. Select website and add the URL for your Reading list, remembering to click save.
