Bridge the gaps in your academic and digital skills and get ahead in your preparations for higher education

We also have online resources that you can use to explore what we mean by academic skills and information on how our team can help you to develop these skills.

The Academic Skills Team 

Whether you're transitioning from school or college or returning to education as a mature learner this is a great opportunity to make sure you’re equipped with the academic and digital skills and knowledge you’ll need to excel during your studies with us. You’ll also get the opportunity to meet support staff s from a range of different areas before you even officially start your studies with us.

As these sessions are aimed at developing you as an independent learner, we are asking that you attend the sessions without any accompanying guests unless absolutely necessary.
