Hello and welcome to all new students who will be joining us in January 2023. We are here to help you!

We offer a blended service with access to support both in-person and in digital formats. You can access many of our resources digitally and our Libraries are open for in-person visits.  

During the Welcome Week 25-29 January you can join a Library tour, attend one of our Library and Academic Skills workshops  - and take part in our Welcome Quiz

An overview of the content in this guide is available as a Microsoft Sway.

Sway is a web-based tool for creating media-rich presentations, which can be created and viewed from a variety of devices. Sway content has numerous ways to customise viewing and navigation even if you didn’t create the Sway yourself. 

If you are not familiar with using Sway the instructions below will help you use this effectively and change options to suit your needs.

During the January welcome period the Library and Learning Services Team will be running 30-minute introductory tours of Staffordshire University Library. 

At these sessions new students will gain confidence in the basics of navigating the library and accessing the help and study support available.

The tours will run from Monday 23 January to Thursday 26 January starting at 2pm, 3pm and 4pm.  Tours start from Library Catalyst (in the foyer of the Catalyst Building) and will last around 30 minutes.

Please come along -  no need to book. You will learn library essentials such as -
