Opening times for all Libraries are on the Library Home Page. Many of our Libraries and study spaces are open for extended hours throughout the year. 

When studying on campus you are welcome to use any Staffordshire University library you choose, according to your preference and/or convenience. If the books you need are located at another one of our libraries, you can ask for them to be sent to the most convenient library for you to collect - see more on Borrowing books.

When coming to any of the Libraries please make sure you have your student card with you to ensure you can access buildings and facilities.

You need your card to borrow books, use the multi-functional devices (to print, photocopy and scan) and to borrow short-term loan laptops. 

Please note: A separate swipe card is required at the Shrewsbury Health Library to gain access during self-service opening. An Out of Hours Access Card can be applied for by all library members. This costs £5.00 (non-refundable). Please visit the Shrewsbury Health Library for more details.

Stoke Campus

Library Core

Located on the Leek Road Campus, Library Core houses materials and learning resources for all subject areas except art, design, fashion and related subjects.

Library Creative

Located on the ground floor of the Blackstone Building (at the back of the Cadman Building) on College Road, Library Creative houses materials and learning resources for art and design, fashion and related subjects.

Library Catalyst

Library Catalyst is located on the ground floor of the Catalyst Building on Leek Road. Library Catalyst houses a Click and Collect area, plus an information kiosk and display area.

The Library Centre for Health Innovation is located at Blackheath Lane on the Stafford Campus.

Shrewsbury Campus

Shrewsbury Health Library

The Health Library is located within the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and houses books, journals and other resources for health, nursing and midwifery students. There are a variety of study areas, plus computers allowing you to access a wide range of electronic resources.
