Academic Skills Tutor Appointments

Book online for an Academic Skills appointment.

Need an appointment ?

It is sensible wherever possible to make an appointment with the lead contact for your subject area.  If slots are not available when you need them consider making an appointment with the additional contacts for your area.

In the event there is still no suitable availability, click on https://staffs.libcal.com/appointments  and under Locations select the Microsoft Teams option and then choose Academic Skills and the No preference option (this will be highlighted by default). Doing this will give you the greatest range of dates and times to book your online 121 support.

If you cannot find an appointment time to suit your commitments, then please use the Academic Skills chat option.

On Mondays to Fridays in term time we offer an online Academic Skills Chat which can often help clear up study related difficulties.  Look for the button at the bottom of this page to see if it is available!  Chat offline?  Don't worry - you can always email us at academicskills@staffs.ac.uk and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Appointments are available Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 5.00pm.  Out of office hours appointments may be available by individual negotiation with specific Academic Skills team members.  Just ask!

Several lengths of appointment are available.  Standard appointments are 30 minutes. If it is your first appointment, or you feel you need more time, you may book an Extended appointment which will provide an hour's personal tuition. Quick discussions of 15 minutes are also available.

STEP 1

STEP 2
