Can't see a date and time to suit your needs? Contact academicskills@staffs.ac.uk stating location, date and time you are looking for and we will see if it can be arranged.

Read and Review Appointments: Done via email, you don't even need to attend! Attach your draft assignments, let us know what areas need looking at and wait for the review comments to support and guide you to a better grade.

Just referencing: Got a quick query about what goes where? Use the "Just Referencing" option to get an answer from one of the team.

Need an appointment ?

It is sensible wherever possible to make an appointment with the lead contact for your subject area.  If slots are not available when you need them consider making an appointment with the additional contacts for your area or alternatively you can select anyone in the Academic Skills Team.

Appointments are available Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 5.00pm.  Out of office hours appointments may be available by individual negotiation with specific Academic Skills team members.  Just ask!

Several lengths of appointment are available.  Standard appointments are 30 minutes. If it is your first appointment, or you feel you need more time, you may book an Extended appointment which will provide an hour's personal tuition. Quick discussions of 15 minutes are also available.
