Philosophy

Book online for an Academic Skills appointment.

There are several options for booking a 121 appointment:

It is sensible wherever possible to make an appointment with the contact for your subject area. 

  • Find the box for your contact on this Subject Guide
  • Click on the button to Book an Appointment.  
  • The Booking Page will be displayed. Follow the onscreen instructions. 

If appointments are not available when you need them you can book with anyone in the Academic Skills team.

  • Go to the page Academic Skills Appointments.
  • From the drop-down list select whether you want a Microsoft Teams, In-person or Email appointment. 
  • Selecting the No preference option will give you the greatest range of  appointment dates and times. This is ideal if you need an appointment quickly or on a specific date.

Appointments are available Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 5.00pm.  

Several lengths of appointment are available. Standard appointments are 30 minutes. If it is your first appointment, or you feel you need more time, you may book an Extended appointment which will provide 50 minutes personal tuition.
