Working with Information Services has allowed me to make the perfect transition from higher education to a fast-paced working environment. The team have been tremendous in allowing me to take the reins of something that is crucial to the development of Staffordshire University. The project’s main goal was to ensure a solid foundation of resources for students to improve their grammar. To realise this, I met with members of staff from all faculties to create materials relevant to students in every award. The feedback from focus groups was invaluable and allowed me to pinpoint the specific areas.
For me, the project has been a huge success and the Academic Skills team has been instrumental in not only helping with the project but also giving me vital employability skills that I can take into my future career.
