Qualtrics is a web-based survey software tool available for use by all Staffordshire University staff and students. Qualtrics can be used to conduct publicly-available surveys, or to give specific users access to a survey.
Some of the uses of Qualtrics include:
Qualtrics is accessed using your University username and password at: https://staffordshire.qualtrics.com.
There is also a link to Qualtrics on the Library Resources page under Useful Research Tools.
Please note: Do not just Google Qualtrics and login from their home page (www.qualtrics.com)! This only gives access to a free account with limited features.
To login to Qualtrics use your username in the format email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org as appropriate, and your normal password. As Qualtrics uses Single-sign on (SSO) like many of the University systems you may be taken straight in if you are already logged into other systems.
The first time that you use Qualtrics you will be asked if you’ve ever used Qualtrics before. Select the option "I don't have a Qualtrics account". A new account will be automatically generated for you. You will then see a screen to agree to the Qualtrics Terms and Conditions.
For future logins you will go straight into Qualtrics.
There are lots of support material available from Qualtrics themselves to help you use the software. You can access these while logged in from the Help link (? button) at the top right of the screen or via the Qualtrics website at https://www.qualtrics.com/university/researchsuite/.
