Each sector will be impacted in some way by the actions you take digitally. Whether you are creating an assignment for your university work or browsing for the next film you will watch.
Section 1: Digital Creation, Research & Innovation
Create, research, and innovate in the digital world. Learn to produce and share digital content, from presentations to 3D models, while ensuring accessibility. Develop research and problem-solving skills using tools like Google Scholar. Explore new technologies, assess their impact, and consider ethical and environmental factors, including AI’s risks and benefits.
Section 2: Digital Learning
Digital learning is about readiness and motivation to learn using online tools. It includes adapting resources, engaging in interactive methods like gamification and forums, and using digital tools for planning and self-assessment.
Section 3: Digital Identity & Wellbeing
Digital identity is about shaping your online presence, balancing professional and personal profiles. Digital wellbeing addresses the physical, mental, and social effects of technology use.
Section 4: Literacy
Information literacy is about finding, evaluating, and applying information critically, considering bias, credibility, and context. It also covers copyright laws, referencing, and legal use of materials.
Section 5: Digital Communication, Collaboration & Participation
Digital communication focuses on effectively interacting online, from emails and video calls to understanding netiquette and appropriate messaging. Digital collaboration involves working on shared documents, managing cloud storage, and using project management tools while ensuring security and permissions. Digital participation is about engaging in discussions, networking, and building an online presence through social media and professional platforms.
Section 6: Digital Proficiency and Productivity
Digital proficiency is about mastering technology, adapting to new tools, and overcoming challenges efficiently. Digital productivity is about using technology efficiently to manage tasks, streamline workflows, and enhance overall performance.
