Prompt Engineering is the process of creating a sentence or paragraph to guide and request output from a system such as ChatGPT.
Similar to searching Google or Library Search you need to work within the parameters of the software to extract the information you require. E.g. typing a colour e.g. "Green" into Amazon won't bring you back the product you wanted. Similarly, creating the best prompt for use in an AI systems will result in the output which suits your needs best.
Consider it similar to going to the right shop to buy the right product, you won't find tyres in a fashion shop!
