RefZone
It is likely that you are familiar with the basics of referencing, but you may be using a wider range of resource types as a postgraduate researcher, or you maybe required to use a different style of referencing to that you used as un undergraduate.
RefZone is our site that explains all about referencing. It also gives access to Cite Them Right Online (CTRO) - a comprehensive referencing resource. It will help you to cite and reference just about any source.
You can also access Cite Them Right Online under C in the A-Z of resources
RefWorks
RefWorks is a web-based bibliography and database manager that allows you to create your own personal database by importing references from text files or online databases and other various sources. Organise your references in folders to help keep track of each topic you research.
You can export references to your documents and automatically format your citations and bibliography to the correct referencing style. You can also import lists of references into RefWorks.
There is also a Reference Citation Manager (RCM) tool built into MS Word that will allow you to connect to your RefWorks account from a Word document, making citing and building a reference list easier.
