Thanks to the efforts of University of Staffordshire researchers depositing their research to the University of Staffordshire Online Repository (STORE) – the repository has recorded record growth in year-on-year usage.

IRUS (Institutional Repository Usage Statistics) figures show 136,674 usage events were logged during the period between April and July 2025, a 142% increase on 56,286 from the same period in 2024.

Submitting your work to STORE offers key benefits, such as greater visibility, easier access for fellow researchers, higher citation rates, and enhanced impact of your research.

You can view the research and scholarly works available at the University of Staffordshire Online Repository at https://eprints.staffs.ac.uk.

The repository contains a wealth of materials including:

  • journal articles
  • conference papers
  • research material such as working papers, reports, discussion papers,
  • art works and exhibitions
  • books and book chapters
  • doctoral theses

The repository provides open access to research where permitted, and full citation details where restrictions apply.

Items in the Repository can also be accessed via the Library Search system or search engines such as Google Scholar.

These statistics have been compiled by the Library Resources and Systems team using IRUS-UK and the COUNTER standard.
