What is numeracy and what are the challenges that students face?

By developing an understanding of how numeracy impacts on your University experience, you can explore how these challenges can be overcome and identify techniques to solve numeracy word problems.

This session will help you to: 

• Become aware of impulse maths
• Identify barriers to making progress in numeracy
• Have a strategy for answering numeracy problems
• Gain confidence to answer numeracy problems

Workshops run regularly throughout the year and cover the key library, academic and digital skills you need to succeed in your degree.
