Improving your critical writing

Develop your ability to write critically.  This means learning to use the literature to support the arguments and assumptions you want to make in your writing.  If you are describing texts, you need to have a reason for doing so.  Remember, anyone can copy information from a book.

This session will help you to:

  • Critically appraise your sources of information
  • Evaluate the evidence
  • Develop your ability to write critically

When is the workshop running?

Workshops run regularly throughout the year and cover the key library, academic and digital skills you need to succeed in your degree.
