(STORE) Quarterly Report: April-June 2024

The latest figures for the Staffordshire University Online Research Repository show the continuing year on year growth in usage of STORE - highlighting the global reach of University research and underlining the scope of research undertaken at Staffordshire University.

IRUS (Institutional Repository Usage Statistics) figures show 56,286 usage events were logged during the April-June 2024 period, a 45% increase on 38,857 from the same period in 2023.

You can view the Staffordshire University Online Research Repository at https://eprints.staffs.ac.uk.

With over 30 new theses added to the repository during this period we have decided to highlight the top 5 doctoral theses accessed during the Q2 period 2024.

Electronic copies of all new theses are deposited in the Staffordshire University Online Research Repository (STORE) - these records are then listed by EThOS, the online service from the British Library providing access to UK doctoral theses.

Making these research theses open access online broadens their reach and enhances the visibility of researchers and also aids the long-term preservation of research theses.

Items in the Repository can also be accessed via the Library Search system or search engines such as Google Scholar.

These statistics have been compiled by the Library Resources and Systems team using IRUS-UK and the COUNTER standard.

If you have queries, please contact the STORE team via email at store@staffs.ac.uk.

For researchers, further information, including guidance on adding your publication data and full-text deposits to STORE is available via the research publishing libguide at https://libguides.staffs.ac.uk/Research_publishing
