Click and Collect

Click and Collect - Request and Reserve Books

Our Click and Collect Service allows you to request a printed book from one of our Libraries and collect from one of the Click and Collect locations.

You can use Click and Collect for books that are currently on loan, or if it is difficult for you to get to the Library where the book is located yourself.

The Catalyst is now open for Click and Collect - request your books and collect during building opening hours.

Postal Loans

If you cannot easily access our on campus Libraries we offer a postal service.  This covers distance learning students, students based at our London Campus and other students who are not able to travel to Stoke or Stafford.

We can post via recorded delivery 4 books at a time. When you return you will need to use recorded delivery too.

  1. Find the book you want using Library Search
  2. Click on the item
  3. Sign in to your Library account.
  4. Click "Request" and scroll down to the bottom of the Pickup locations list and select Home address under Personal Delivery.

You can borrow these items initially for 4 weeks but if the item is in demand this will be reduced to two weeks. Items will automatically renew unless requested by another user.

If there is an electronic version available for the book requested we will email you the details and provide a link to access the ebook instead of posting the printed version.

We aim to deal with requests promptly and most requests are satisfied within 7 days. However please bear in mind that items currently on loan can take longer to arrive and we do rely on postal services for this.

Borrowers are responsible for any return costs..
