Media and Information Literacy

Media literacy entails the capacity to access, analyse, evaluate, and craft diverse media content. It's a vital skill in today's digital era, enabling individuals to comprehend and navigate the extensive media landscape effectively. This proficiency involves understanding how media messages are constructed, critiquing their elements, and comprehending their purposes. Encouraging active creation of media content, it empowers individuals to become mindful producers. By fostering media literacy, individuals engage more meaningfully in civic life and make informed decisions in our information-rich society.

Data Literacy retains to the data side of information such as:

  • Collecting and managing data in spreadsheets, dashboards and data bases then analysing the data sets to understand what they mean.
