This year marks 20 years of celebrating LGBT+ History Month in the UK.

The month is an opportunity to highlight the incredible things LGBT+ people have achieved throughout history in all areas of life.

Funded by Schools OUT, the month aims to #educateOUTprejudice and usualise LGBT+ lives, creating learning environments where all LGBT+ people feel safe, seen, and supported, to celebrate the rich and diverse history, herstory, theirstory.

This year it is even more important than ever that our LGBTQ+ community are given the platform to:

  • Claim their past
  • Celebrate their present
  • Create their future

Find out more about LGBT+ History Month and access a range of support and resources over on the Schools OUT website
