Tags will need to be added to sections or individual items on your reading list. Adding a tag helps the Library to prioritise when ordering new resources and is a quick view for students to see which resources are integral for the course and which are supplementary reading.
Adding Tags To Individual Items
You will need to add a tag to all items on your reading list. To add a tag navigate to reading lists online and find the book that you wish to tag. Remember, if you have multiple sections on your list, you will need to click the section titles to see the list of items in the section. Under the item title, you will see a link labelled “Add tag” with a small, blue tag illustration.
On selecting this link, the tag options will appear in a drop-down menu for you to choose from. The options are

Purchase Request
The Library team cannot see new purchase requests unless they have been tagged correctly. Items not tagged will not be ordered and could result in resources not being available for start of term. Please allow a minimum of 28 days for new resource requests to become available. In periods of high demand these times may be increased
Adding tags to sections
