Access to Elsevier Products

Current access problems with Elsevier Journals and databases

 

You may find you get the following error message when accessing Elsevier journals and databases, in particular ScienceDirect: Your Proxy has lost its connections to ScienceDirect.

Should you see this message please follow these steps:

  • click on the option that asks you to Gain Access another way.
  • Sign in with your username and password
  • Choose your institution by typing Staffordshire University into the search box
  • Click continue without registering
  • Search for your journal

You should now be able to access and download the journal articles we subscribe to.

We are working to resolve this issue with Elsevier as soon as we can.
