Occasionally you may find that access to an article is denied even though the university pays for a subscription. This problem is caused by a bug in the Emerald database caused by the recent upgrade to the platform.
Emerald are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it. In the meantime they have offered the following advice should you find your self in this situation.
Some users have reported that they are not recognised as authenticated users when they do have subscription access through their institution to www.emerald.com/insight. If this affects you, and you are not a librarian, please click the 'reset authentication' button on the top right-hand corner of www.emerald.com/insight and contact your library if this is ineffective.
If you are still unable able to access the resource after trying the instructions above please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
